Miller's Church History by no means falls under the category of an objective account of ecclesiastical history.

Rather, Andrew Miller looks at the history of the Church of God from the subjective lens of the Bible itself, in an attempt to show what the Lord (and Satan) have been doing in the Church throughout the last years/5. A fantastic source for understanding the local church doctrine.

A very easy read. Millers history should be the standard for teaching this subject. I have found those who author on the local church in this era to be just another johnie come lately/5(3).

The BEST History - bar none. & all history is church history. A very readable book, & Millers Church history [new ed.] book a thick tome it is not one to run from. If you google the book you can find it & read some portions, however, don't let that dissuade you from buying the book - you'll be glad you did/5(5).
