Description: The Simple English Bible is a new translation of the Holy Bible. It is the result of an effort by several teams, not just one team, over a period of many years. It is the result of an effort by several teams, not just one team, over a period of many years. Meaning of New Testament in Easy English – The last part of the Bible. There are 27 books in the New Testament. The writers wrote them after Jesus lived on earth. The New Testament describes Jesus' life and the things that he taught. Also, it is about the church and about the beliefs and the lives of Christians.

The New Testament, as usually received in the Christian Churches, is made up of twenty-seven different books attributed to eight different authors, six of whom are numbered among the Apostles (Matthew, John, Paul, James, Peter, Jude) and two among their immediate disciples (Mark, Luke). The New Testament was not written all at once.   As with other New Testament epistles, we should accept the informal, meandering structure and not attempt to force it into an essay format. 1 Timothy The first of a group known as the pastoral epistles written to individual pastors. 1 Timothy emerges as a manual for church life, with special emphasis on the role and conduct of the pastor.

The book can be read for its content, or it can be used side by side with a Bible as a handbook or commentary. It is a valuable tool for the Bible student, an extremely helpful aid for new Christians, and it deserves a place on the bookshelf of every Christian home. The Roman Catholic canon also includes the Deuterocanonical books as part of the Old Testament (these are considered apocryphal by most Protestants). The Hebrew Bible recognizes the books referred to as the Old Testament in the Protestant Bible, but not the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical books or the New Testament.
